Lettings Negotiator & Resident Liaison Co-Ordinator

📅 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
⏰ Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, customer-focused property professional to join a successful residential operation in Birmingham.
This unique role combines traditional residential lettings responsibilities with a wider resident liaison and operational support function, helping residents throughout an important heating and hot water upgrade programme across the development.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and site team, you will play a key role in supporting both prospective tenants and existing residents, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout every stage of the lettings and decant process.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing lettings enquiries via telephone, email and social media
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Advertising available properties and maintaining occupancy levels
- Carrying out pre-let inspections and property checks
- Assisting with tenant inductions and move-ins
- Supporting periodic inspections of occupied properties
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents during temporary decants
- Coordinating resident moves into temporary accommodation
- Conducting property condition inspections and reporting
- Managing scheduling, tracking and resident communications
- Working closely with contractors and operational teams to ensure smooth programme delivery
- Monitoring resident feedback and resolving issues where appropriate
- Supporting wider resident engagement and communication initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can confidently balance customer service, organisation and operational coordination.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within residential lettings, property management or estate agency
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and diary management abilities
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working directly with residents and customers
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- A professional, approachable and empathetic manner.
