Property Manager
Location: Exmouth
Salary: £24,689 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Property Manager to join their central office team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to manage a residential property portfolio in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position working an average of 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:30pm. You will also be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00am – 1:00pm), with a half day off in lieu during the following week.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring a high level of service is provided to both landlords and tenants, while maintaining compliance with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenancy & Client Management
- Acting as the main point of contact for both landlords and tenants, dealing with tenancy queries, renewals, and any disputes
- Managing rent collection, arrears, and deposit negotiations in line with current regulations
- Overseeing tenant onboarding, check-ins and check-outs, including inventories and condition reports
- Handling complaints and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
Maintenance & Repairs
- Coordinating both routine and emergency maintenance through approved contractors
- Monitoring works, authorising invoices, and ensuring value for money and quality standards are met
Compliance & Administration
- Ensuring all properties meet current health & safety and legal requirements, including fire risk compliance
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems, including tenancy details and communications
