Head of Lettings – Shropshire

The Opportunity
As Head of Lettings, you will be responsible for leading and growing the entire lettings operation, ensuring it is commercially successful, operationally efficient and positioned for long-term growth.
You will play a key role within the senior leadership team, influencing business decisions and shaping the future of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a clear lettings strategy focused on growth and profitability
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities
- Contribute to wider business planning and leadership decisions
Business Development
- Win new instructions and grow the managed portfolio
- Build strong relationships with landlords, investors and developers
- Represent the business within the local market and wider industry
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing lettings team
- Set, monitor and drive KPIs across all levels
- Create a results-driven, positive and accountable culture
Operational Oversight
- Oversee the full lettings process from instruction through to management
- Ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery
- Monitor pipeline performance and deal progression
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure full adherence to lettings legislation and best practice
- Implement and maintain robust compliance procedures
- Keep ahead of regulatory changes and industry developments
Financial Performance
- Drive revenue growth, profitability and cost control
- Manage budgets, pricing strategies and performance reporting
- Deliver against ambitious financial targets
Client Experience
- Deliver exceptional service to landlords and tenants
- Resolve complex issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Protect and enhance the company’s reputation
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in residential lettings at a senior level
- A strong track record of growing portfolios and driving revenue
- Inspirational leadership with the ability to build and develop teams
- Deep understanding of lettings legislation and compliance
- Highly commercial, driven and results-focused
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Qualifications:
- ARLA Propertymark (or equivalent) desirable
