We are seeking an experienced Residential Lettings Consultant to join our clients busy and successful Residential Lettings team.
The Role:
You will manage the lettings process from start to finish, matching applicants to properties, carrying out viewings, negotiating lets, progressing references, and liaising with landlords and tenants to ensure a smooth tenancy start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and a basic knowledge of the letting and referencing processes
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a target driven environment
- Ability to multitask given the nature of the sector
- Attention to detail: critical for compliance checks
- Problem solving, thinking on your feet, is critical to resolve issues, delays or tenant/client concerns
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year lettings experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving licence
Remuneration Details:
- Full time – Monday to Friday 9.00am–5.15pm
- Salary: £25,000 per annum with a commission-based structure for each property let
- Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, on-site parking
