An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and established Property Auctioneers as an Auction Valuer.
Continued success and growth in the Hampshire region now means that an Auction Valuer is required to maximise provided and personally generated leads in the area directly with vendors, estate agents, solicitors and other associated property businesses.
The successful agent will have a good geographical knowledge of Southampton and the surrounding areas, as well as ideally someone who has pre-existing relationships with property businesses in this area to further grow opportunities and successfully close business.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic salary of £25,000 per annum and OTE £40,000
- Up to 10% commission structure.
- Monday-to-Friday working hours of 9:00am–5:00pm.
- No regular weekend working.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying and canvassing sources of new listings for residential, commercial, land and investment properties, as well as utilising incoming company leads. ·
- Undertaking appraisals, providing realistic guide ranges, fees and advising of the auction process and its benefits.
- Converting instructions, as well as marketing and selling these through proactive negotiation.
- Servicing Appraisals received via all sources and converting into new business and sales.
- Building on existing working relationships to maximise business opportunities.
- Being responsible for cultivating, supporting and encouraging new buyers, as well as guiding them through the auction process.
- Responding to enquiries via telephone and e-mail.
- Conducting viewings from listings.
- Taking an active role in marketing and brand awareness.
- Keep abreast of market conditions and advise clients accordingly.
- Delivering excellent customer service to clients via telephone, e-mail, online and video communication.
- Awareness of all advertisement of online portals with a view to contacting potential vendors to see if they would consider selling via the auction platform.
- Ensure up to date record reporting and compliance.
- Work towards achieving personal targets.
Previous experience working within a valuation level role in the property sector is essential along with excellent communication skills both in person, written and on the telephone.
