Assistant Lettings Manager / ValuerExeter | Full Time | PermanentOn Target Earnings: £32,000 – £35,000 + benefits including parking, pension, clothing and mileage allowance.
We are delighted to be working with a well-established, highly sought after, independent estate agency in Exeter to recruit an ambitious Assistant Lettings Manager / Valuer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lettings professional looking to take the next step in their career within a successful and growing business.
The RoleWorking closely with the Head of Lettings, you will support the day-to-day running of the department while taking a lead role in winning new business, carrying out rental valuations, and maintaining strong landlord relationships. This is a varied position combining valuation, business development, and team support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rental valuations and market appraisals for prospective landlords
- Generate and convert new lettings business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong landlord and tenant relationships
- Carry out viewings, negotiate offers, and secure lets
- Support the management of relets and minimise void periods
- Assist with tenancy progression and compliance processes
- Monitor departmental performance and help achieve lettings targets
- Support and motivate junior team members where required
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure regulatory compliance
About You
- Previous experience within residential lettings
- Confident carrying out rental valuations and winning instructions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Commercially aware and target driven
- Good knowledge of current lettings legislation
- Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
- ARLA / Propertymark qualification desirable but not essential
