Mortgage Advisor – Lincoln Salary: DOE Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm Working Pattern: Flexible working available, including one day per week from home Location: Lincoln
We are supporting a well‑established Lincoln business in their search for an experienced Mortgage Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and providing clear, compliant mortgage advice throughout the full home‑buying journey.
Key Responsibilities: • Meeting clients in person, over the phone or via video to understand their financial position and requirements • Providing clear, tailored mortgage advice and explaining products in an accessible way • Completing affordability assessments and ensuring all recommendations meet FCA guidelines • Managing the full mortgage application process, ensuring accuracy and timely progression • Keeping up to date with lender criteria, market changes and regulatory updates • Building strong relationships with lenders, estate agents and other partners • Advising on relevant protection products where appropriate • Working to agreed service levels and performance targets while maintaining excellent customer outcomes
About You: • CeMAP‑qualified (or equivalent) • Strong understanding of mortgage products and underwriting requirements • Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex information • Highly organised with strong attention to detail • Customer‑focused, ethical and committed to delivering the right outcomes • Able to manage your own diary and workload effectively
