Property Manager – Sutton ColdfieldBasic Salary: £28,000–£32,000 (DOE)
Our client, a highly respected and well-established independent estate agency, is looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to join their successful team in Sutton Coldfield.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, customer-focused business that genuinely values its people. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants while ensuring compliance and the smooth day-to-day management of each tenancy.
The Role
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties from move-in through to tenancy end
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs with approved contractors
- Handling maintenance issues efficiently and proactively
- Arranging property inspections and preparing detailed reports
- Managing tenancy renewals and negotiating where appropriate
- Dealing with deposit returns and end-of-tenancy matters
- Ensuring full compliance with current lettings legislation
- Liaising with contractors, inventory clerks and other third parties
- Delivering a consistently high level of customer service
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within residential property management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, positive and customer-focused approach
- Knowledge of current lettings legislation
- A full UK driving licence and own vehicle
