Senior Architectural Technician – Shropshire / Birmingham
Salary: Competitive (dependent upon experience)

The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of projects during the production information and site phases while working closely alongside senior colleagues and consultants.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical knowledge, a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing comprehensive working drawing packages.
- Advising on building regulations, legislation and environmental requirements.
- Providing guidance regarding materials and construction techniques.
- Undertaking designer risk assessments (CDM).
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors and statutory bodies.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, statutory and professional standards.
- Producing and coordinating detailed design information.
- Preparing documentation for approval authorities.
- Working within Revit Level 2 BIM processes.
- Providing COBie data where required.
- Undertaking surveys, preparing reports and maintaining quality assurance procedures.
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant degree, HNC, HND or BTEC qualification.
- A minimum of ten years’ post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience within healthcare, educational or residential projects.
- Advanced Revit skills and extensive experience of BIM processes.
- Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and construction legislation.
- A thorough understanding of current fire safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
