Valuer / Lister
Location: Leicester
Salary: £28,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (£40,000 OTE)
Hours: Full Time, including 1 in 2 Saturdays
Car Allowance: Own vehicle required
The Company
Our client is a highly respected independent estate agency with a strong presence across Leicester and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Valuer / Lister to join their successful residential sales team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious property professional with a proven track record of valuing and listing residential properties within the Leicester market. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, winning instructions, and overseeing the complete onboarding process from valuation through to launching properties onto the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential market appraisals and property valuations across Leicester and surrounding areas.
- Win new instructions and convert valuation opportunities into listings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors throughout the sales process.
- Provide expert advice on pricing, marketing strategies, and local market conditions.
- Prepare properties for launch to market, coordinating:
- Professional photography
- Floor plans
- Property descriptions
- EPC arrangements where required
- Upload and manage property listings across major property portals and company systems.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and database management.
- Negotiate offers and assist vendors through the sales process where required.
- Maintain accurate records and CRM updates.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Valuer, Lister, Senior Negotiator, or similar role within residential estate agency.
- Proven experience valuing and listing properties within Leicester and the surrounding areas.
- Demonstrable track record of winning instructions and achieving targets.
- Strong knowledge of the local property market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and commercially focused.
- Professional and personable approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to your own vehicle for business use.
