Assistant Branch Manager – Estate Agency
📍 Telford, Shropshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious property professional to join a highly respected independent estate agency as an Assistant Branch Manager in their successful Telford office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior Negotiator, Valuer, or existing Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their career with a well-established business that offers genuine progression, support, and long-term career prospects.
The Role
Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation and continued success of the branch. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will be involved in all aspects of estate agency, combining leadership responsibilities with personal fee-earning activity.
You will be expected to lead by example, support the wider team, and help drive performance, customer service, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the Branch Manager with the overall management and performance of the office
• Conducting market appraisals and helping to win new instructions
• Arranging and carrying out property viewings
• Negotiating offers and progressing sales through to completion
• Generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships within the local community
• Assisting with the training, mentoring, and development of team members
• Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times
• Monitoring market activity and maintaining strong local property knowledge
• Helping drive branch profitability, market share, and overall performance
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience within estate agency at Senior Negotiator, Valuer, Sales Manager, or Assistant Manager level
• Proven track record of generating business and achieving results
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Driven, ambitious, and career-focused
• Natural leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support colleagues
• Well organised and capable of performing in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence
