Job Title: Property Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client are a well-established independent estate agency based in Leicester, seeking an experienced and highly organised Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 300 fully managed residential properties.
This is a key role within the business, requiring a proactive individual who can balance excellent customer service with strong operational control. You will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with both landlords and tenants, ensuring properties are managed efficiently and in full compliance with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, including contractor management
- Handling maintenance enquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Conducting property inspections, including check-ins and check-outs
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met, including gas safety certification and other statutory obligations
- Managing tenancy renewals and liaising with landlords on portfolio performance
- Dealing with tenant queries and disputes in a professional manner
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential property management
- Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Confident in dealing with both landlords and tenants
- Full UK driving licence
