Our client, a well-respected property agent in the South West, have a brand new and exciting opportunity for a Rural and Country Property Sales Manager to join their team and are offering an on target earning up to £50,000 pa. Using their Bridgwater office as a hub, the role would primarily involve increasing their rural property portfolio in the surrounding rural areas and villages. This is a unique role that requires a unique individual to compliment it.
The successful candidate will be well presented, articulate, self-motivated and have a burning ambition to succeed in this sector of the residential market.
As a Rural and Country Property Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
·Identifying and securing the marketing instructions from the vendors of rural and country properties
·Creating a database of both potential vendors and purchasers with the intention of creating ‘off market’ sales
·Coordinating the creation of marketing material commensurate with the demanding quality of the aforementioned clients (please note we use a third-party provider for both professional photography, floor plans and video tours)
·Negotiating a sales fee at the upper end of the prevailing market and in the process ensuring that we do not lose business to competitors
·Retaining instructions through honest and regular contact with clients
·Undertaking accompanied viewings of prospective purchasers and handling all aspects of negotiation of the sales
·To successfully see sales through from initial offer to exchange of contracts
·Successfully generate financial services referrals
·To comply with all relevant legislation including data protection, anti-money laundering etc
As this is a very self-driven and self-managed position the duties will vary day to day, and you must be flexible in your approach to work, and this will include being available when the client wants you to be available, in return there will be considerable flexibility of working hours and location.
About you:
The first and most important factor is that you will have a desire to succeed in the mid to upper sector of the rural property market and will have exactly have the right attitude and aptitude for the task in hand.
You will be a positive and friendly individual, used to leading and being responsible for your own portfolio. You will be organised, solution driven and resilient. If you have passion for the property market and excel in delivering excellent service, this could be the ideal role for you.

·Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
·Proven experience of working in the property industry and working in a similar role
·Local knowledge of Bridgwater and the surrounding villages advantageous
Basic Salary £30,000 per annum plus profit related commission with an OTE of up to £50,000 per annum.
The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30 plus alternate Saturdays 09:00 – 16:00. However, please note the foregoing comments regarding both the demands and flexibility of this role.
