A self-motivated and diligent Property Manager is currently required by a successful private property company in Oxford.

The Property Manager will be expected to take responsibility for duties including the maintenance of properties, liaising with contractors, and ensuring adherence to Health & Safety regulations at their residential properties which are located across Oxford.

This position would suit an individual who enjoys problem-solving, negotiating, and dealing with relevant parties on maintenance issues.

To be considered for this position, the following requirements are necessary:

-Experience of Residential Property Management is essential.
-Previous experience of managing residential properties in Oxford will be an advantage.

You will be required to join a dynamic and driven team in a number 1 position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years worth of Property Management experience and preferably a strong local knowledge.

Key duties will include:

-Advertising property to potential tenants
-Sourcing suitable and reliable tenants for the property
-Accompanying potential tenants to view the property
-Obtaining references and conducting credit checks on potential tenants
-Providing information on the latest safety regulations
-Preparing the tenancy agreements
-Organising and managing the collection of the tenant's deposit
-Preparing the inventory and conducting a state of repair assessment on the property
-Checking in the tenant and agreeing the inventory
-Collecting the rent from the tenant
-Transferring the rental income to your account and providing you with statements of account
-Managing and arranging any necessary repairs
Inspecting the property periodically and feeding back any comments to you
-Providing tenants with notice at the end of the tenancy
-Re-letting the property as quickly as possible and minimising any 'down-time'
-Dealing with legal aspects of the tenancy and property, including evictions, non-payment, harassment or problems with squatters

Duties will vary and you will be required to assist on all matters.

Key features of a candidate:

Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Liaison Coordinator for their offices in Oxford.

Key responsibilities/tasks
· Deal with all incoming calls as appropriate
·Applicant care in line with company procedures

·Ensure the team is aware of any terminations and the relevant action is in place
·Prepare new properties for marketing & Liaising with photographers regarding appointment
·EPC’s and floor plans – order and insert EPC’s, photographs and floor plans on REAPIT and web
·Making brochure for the property & sending these to our Landlords for confirmation of agreement to live advertising
·Prepare window cards
·Liaise with the deal progression team to ensure all file work ready before move in and signed off by HOD
·Liaising with Admin rep regarding smooth running of the office including stationary ordering etc.

·Key Manager - logging keys in and out and adding new keys
·Manage the TO LET and LET BY boards for available properties
·Market Share – weekly market share, highlighting properties on with other agents to Lettings Manager and producing weekly report of market share

This position will be working Monday-Friday 9-6 plus a Saturday rota.



Skills and experience
· To be able to deliver under pressure and be confident dealing with clients both in person and over the phone
· Strong organisational skills
· Effective communication skills both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
· Relevant experience to the role
· ARLA licensed (desirable not essential)
· Have an ability to multi-task
· Excellent telephone manner
· Good working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word etc
