Duties:
Receive and distribute emergency jobs
Maintain budgets
Sourcing trades
React quickly to issues on phone and email to maintain
excellent service levels.
Prioritise and organise daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly
tasks such as, Meter readings,
Inspections, Check Ins/ Check Outs etc

You will manage a portfolio of letting properties and be the friendly positive point of contact and the chief problem solver for your landlords and their tenants. You will manage each tenancy through from start to finish; from the first viewing and applications; to referencing, inspections, maintenance and finally checkouts and deposit returns.
You:
We will want you to have 3 plus years experience in property lettings, ARLA is ideal but not essential, to have a track record in organised and effective administration and to have the skills and approach to offer exceptional customer service to every client every time. ASSISTANT LETTINGS MANAGER/LETTINGS VALUER
 
·22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) increasing by 1 day each year up to an additional 5 days of leave

The successful candidate will assume joint responsibility for the smooth-running of the lettings department, leading by example as they manage and motivate staff, oversee marketing activities, carry out valuations, and liaise with landlords.
The primary responsibilities of this role include…
·Qualifying and registering potential tenants and purchasers
·Conduct Lettings valuations
·Arranging and conducting property viewings in line with company procedure and standards
·Achieving both personal and office targets for lets agreed
·Progressing lets to a successful conclusion
·Liaising with potential landlords and vendors and conducting property appraisals in order to maximise instructions
·Canvassing, administration and other general duties as required
To succeed, the successful individual will need an In-depth working knowledge of residential lettings procedures, practises and legislation. They will also need…
·Good general knowledge of residential sales procedures, practices and legislation, particularly relating to the conveyancing process
·High levels of personal presentation, eloquence and communication skills
·Attention to detail and strong administrative skills
·A strong work ethic.
·A passion for property and for delivering the highest standards of service within the industry
·A good knowledge of the Leicester student and professional market and the surrounding area
·Minimum of 1 year’s valuation experience or 3+ years senior negotiator experience
·A full, clean UK driver’s license
Hours
 
Full Time
08:45-17:00 Monday to Friday - Every Other Saturday 09:00-14:00
 
A generous Salary and commission package is being offered dependent on experience.
