An exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator, who has some property experience, to join a thriving and busy estate agent in the Sherborne area in a full time role.
This is with an established estate agent with a well-regarded firm with an excellent track record and reputation built on their quality of service and results.
The role will be mainly office based, Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm. Occasionally there may be the requirement to work an hour or two at the weekend.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have great administration and IT skills and be able to pick up potentially new software systems with relative ease. Approachable and well presented with an ability to work in a calm and professional manner when dealing with customer enquiries is essential.
Some industry experience is required as sales progression and responding to property related enquiries from buyers, vendors and solicitors can form a significant part of the role.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Qualifying applicants / Registering on system
Organising contractors to attend to maintenance issues and liaising with landlords where applicable.
Property File upkeep
Putting together, printing and sending out property lists
Handling day to day operations
Assisting sales team members
Filing office general office paperwork, sales paperwork
Updating banking, pipeline and weekly spreadsheets
Updating window display
Preparing reports when needed
Maintain office supplies
Marketing / social media
Creating brochures, flyers, marketing material, window cards, organising EPCs, placing properties on the internet.
To create invoices for fees and disbursements
Answering phone as required and dealing with queries where possible, and/or taking accurate messages
Be responsible for general office housekeeping
Arranging property viewing and survey appointments
Liaising with solicitors on sales progression
