Our client is one of the largest and busiest student letting agencies in Exeter with prestigious offices located in the city centre.
 
They are now seeking a Student Property Manager to join their market leading team. The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience in the lettings industry and will support the lettings manager in providing a high quality service to our Landlords and Tenants.
The role will suit a well organised individual, with excellent administration skills, the ability to communicate at all levels, proficient in Microsoft Office, the ability to prioritise their workload and excellent customer service skills. It will involve work both in and out of the office and the successful applicant will be a car owner.
 
Key Responsibilities
·Ensuring all properties under the company's management are fully compliant with all necessary legislation
·Preparation of Tenancy Agreements, Inventories and Schedules Of Condition
·Handling enquiries by email, telephone and in person
·Entering property details on property management software and ensuring it is kept fully updated
·Working with landlords to maintain all properties to a high standard including regular inspections
·Check In and check Out appointments including assessing tenants deposit dilapidations
·Carrying out tenancy sign up appointments with tenants
·Updating utility companies of tenancy changes
·Handling tenants maintenance issues
 
Desirable
·Experience in Property Lettings
·Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Laws
·Knowledge of the local area
 
Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday plus one 9AM to 4PM one Saturday in three (no day off in lieu)
 
Salary: £18,000.00 to £20,000.00 /year depending on experience

Head of Land & New Homes

£30000 - £35000

We have a fantastic opportunity to head up the New Homes department in the Exeter area for a highly sought after, prestigious property agent with salary OTE between £40-50,000.  The role will be mainly Devon based but will cover the triangle between Bristol, Sandbanks & Lands End.  This is a really exciting opportunity for a senior New Homes agent or Estate Agent with good experience of New Homes Sales, Business Development & ideally some Land experience. Salary OTE between £40-50,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6pm plus one in 4 Saturdays (max).
 
Main Accountabilities
Overall responsibility for:
·Managing the New Homes agency business across the South West
·Securing re-sales opportunities with the Land Agents when disposing of development sites
·Advising on schemes for residential Developers/House Builders and securing sales agency instructions
·Providing market reports and assisting with option appraisals for developer clients who wish to acquire sites
·Undertaking competitor analysis
·Interviewing and employing on-site sales staff
·Providing advice on design and specification
·Dealing with investors and securing sales
·Securing off-plan sales
·Liaising with journalists and PR Consultants
·Liaising with solicitors, purchasers and other residential agents
 
Experience
Essential
·Extensive agency experience and proven track record from working either for House Builders or Estate Agents dealing with New Homes
·Good contacts at senior levels, particularly with Sales Directors at residential development companies
·Good understanding of protocols and terms for re-sales contracts between developers and agents
·Sales and Marketing experience gained within house building companies
·Dealt with the management and setting up of New Homes business for a house builder
·Confident in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Microsoft Outlook

Market leading company seek Property Consultants to join the team in their Exeter office. This is a great opportunity to work in the property industry in a role with a starting salary of £18,000 and no weekend working!
 
The role will involve:
 
- Managing a portfolio of nationwide properties through the sales process  working with Estate Agents, Surveyors and Solicitors.
- Working out the most appropriate marketing plans for the properties you are managing

Lettings Negotiator

Are you looking for a new role in the Property Industry? We are seeking a lettings negotiator / property administrator for a full time position, with a lovely Exeter firm. There would also be Saturdays on a rota.
 
Our client is an established Estate & Letting Agency located in Exeter City Centre.  They are looking for an experienced lettings candidate who is looking for a new role in lettings.  Day to day duties will be varied but will include organising and carrying out viewings, general lettings administration, utility change overs and taking meter readings on rental properties.  There would also be the opportunity to carry out lettings valuations or to train up to do this if no experience.
 
Because the office manages a high proportion of student properties, this role would ideally suit someone who does not need time off during school holidays and other seasonal periods which are busy student times.
 
Salary £19-23,000 depending on experience and use of pool car if over 25.  If under 25 and using own car, mileage is paid.
 
Monday to Friday 8.45-5.30pm and saturdays on a rota.
