Sales Negotiator

Our client is an established and successful dynamic, independent Estate Agency providing the highest level of professional and personal service with an excellent reputation in the industry.  
 
Due to their continued success and expansion, they are now looking to recruit a mature Sales Advisor full time to work as part of their busy and thriving team in one of their highly successful Derbyshire offices  Experience in estate agency is not essential but sales experience is!
 
Duties will include:
• Working as part of a team.
• 2/3 days of the week, launching properties for sale. Doing photos, measurements and marketing of properties and backing up the Manager.
The rest of the week you will be:-
• Booking property valuations
• Carrying out accompanied viewings with purchasers
• Negotiating property sales and liaising between purchasers and vendors
• Working closely with other negotiators, sharing information to secure additional business
• Recommending other products, such as insurance and financial services.
• Keeping a close eye on the local market, noticing any changes and recognising opportunities
• Being part of an enthusiastic and driven team, working towards common goals, achieving realistic targets
 
The ideal candidate:
• A proven track record of achieving sales and targets.
• A natural ability to multi-task and manage a busy and varied workload where no two days are the same
• Personable, enjoy building relationships and providing fantastic levels of customer service
• A good problem solver
• Excellent local knowledge
• You’ll be expected to be smart and well presented at all times, with excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
 
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential together with good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. You’ll be confident and able to work alone, as well as part of a team, working to targets and a willingness to go the extra mile. You must be a car driver and have your own vehicle to be considered for this role.
Salary package:
£17k to £18k – realistic OTE- £25K p.a. plus company petrol. There are great long term career prospects for the successful candidate.

Duties will include:
• Working as part of a team, really getting involved in every aspect of the business
• Registering purchaser details and matching them to available properties
• Booking property valuations
• Carrying out accompanied viewings with purchasers
• Negotiating property sales and liaising between purchasers and vendors
• Working closely with other negotiators, sharing information to secure additional business
• Recommending other products, such as insurance and financial services.
• Keeping a close eye on the local market, noticing any changes and recognising opportunities
• Being part of an enthusiastic and driven team, working towards common goals, achieving realistic targets
 
The ideal candidate:
• Previous Sales Negotiator experience is desirable but a trainee with a sales background and lots of enthusiasm would also be considered.
• A proven track record of achieving sales and targets is ESSENTIAL
• A natural ability to multitask and manage a busy and varied workload where no two days are the same

Lettings Negotiator

Our client are an industry leading, Independent Lettings and Sales Estate agent and they have an excellent opportunity to join them at their very busy Derby office as a Lettings Negotiator.
 
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To assist the lettings team in the smooth running of the department and its ongoing success. To liaise with clients on a regular basis regarding their requirements and provide a high quality service at all times.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Regularly liaise with applicants, tenants and landlords in relation to their requirements
·To match suitable properties to applicants requirements
·To arrange property viewings
·To negotiate lets
·To credit reference tenants
·To organise inventories and check ins and outs
·To arrange deposit monies and contracts
·To meet set targets
·Administration
 
EXPERIENCE
You must have previous experience in the lettings industry or property field.
