Accounts Administrator

£10 - £12 per hour

Our client, a busy independent Estate Agents & Letting Agents covering the Mid / West Cornwall area, is looking for an experienced Full or Part time Lettings & Accounts Administrator for their Penryn office.

The successful candidate must be computer literate, a proficient typist, confident and used to dealing with people at all levels and have a good knowledge of lettings administration. Previous experience of working in lettings or estate agency is required. This role will involve lettings accounts such as collecting rents, landlord and contractor payments and bank reconciliation so a good head for figures and some accounts experience would be preferred.

This is a busy office, therefore the ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.
You will be organised, able to work independently, able to converse with upper end clientele and be of smart appearance.

In return our client is offering a competitive hourly rate in the region of £10-12ph depending on experience, for the lettings and accounts administration role.

The role can either be full time or slightly reduced Monday to Friday hours (ie 9-4pm).

Lettings Negotiator

£16500 - £18000

Experienced lettings negotiator required for Established, Independent letting agency in Callington with OTE of up to £21,000.

Our client is a well-respected firm of estate & letting agents in the Devon & Cornwall areas. They are currently looking for a bright and organised lettings negotiator to join their established team of lettings people managing an existing portfolio of managed and let only properties whilst also adding to the portfolio. You will have some lettings experience and be familiar with lettings legislation. You will be proactive and organised and able to manage your own workload, be of smart appearance and have your own car.

Duties will include viewings, valuations, and quarterly checks, check-ins and check outs and help with property maintenance and deposit releases. An ARLA qualification will be an advantage but they will put you through your ARLA exam if not.

Basic salary in the region of £16,500 - £18,000 with OTE of £19,500 - £21,000.

Lettings Negotiator

Experienced Lettings Negotiator or Property Manager required for Established Independent Letting Agency with a superb reputation in Cornwall.

Our client is looking for an organised, and well-presented lettings negotiator to work in their Penryn office. They are an extremely busy agent so you will be used to working under pressure and be able to multi task and organise your own workload daily. You will have at a year’s lettings or property management experience and be able to hit the ground running.

In return you will be working for a very respected firm and receive a competitive basic salary, in the region of ÂŁ17-20,000 depending on experience, with an OTE ÂŁ20-23,000 and a pool car is available to candidates over 25. The salary is negotiable depending on the candidate though.

The position is full time Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm with Saturdays worked on a rota, 1 in 3 (9am – 4pm).

Lettings Negotiator

Experienced lettings negotiator required for established Cornwall independent agent with great career prospects and covering the Penzance and surrounding areas.

An experienced and highly motivated lettings negotiator is required to cover the Penzance branch of our clients offices in Cornwall. This is primarily a sales role as the successful applicant will be responsible for generating new business (bringing new landlords/properties in) marketing properties, accompanied viewings, completing lets and all associated administration/drawing up documentation.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of one year’s lettings experience in a similar role and have the appropriate professional qualifications or willingness to undertake training for them and to achieve ARLA or equivalent within 2 years of your start date. This role will not be covering property management but dealing with the front end of lettings.


Key Duties will include:
·Work with the other team members to optimize your branch’s performance
·Ensure company standards are met and maintained
·Deal with incoming inquiries about properties
·Meeting landlords and carrying out valuation appraisals on new rental properties
·Register applicant’s details and property requirements
·Book and conducting viewings
·General property administration
·Negotiate offers between all parties
·Be excellent at closing lets or instructions
·Handle monies received
·Use good organisational skills, planning and time management
·Acquire local market knowledge

This will be a 5-day working week, in return our client offers a basic salary of £18,000 with a generous commission structure and an OTE of £22,000.

Branch Manager

A Branch Manager is required to join an established Estate Agent in the St Austell area. This is a great opportunity with this agent and will suit a vibrant and enthusiastic candidate, who has a proven track record working the Cornwall property market.

You will be well presented, nicely spoken and have a brilliant conversion rate in bringing property to market.

Key responsibilities will be to:

·Attending and winning market appraisals
·To gain and market instructions.
·To manage a strong team of mature, capable Estate Agents.
·To liaising with Sales, Lettings and other areas of the business.
·Hitting present targets with view to increasing them.
·Increase overall market share and board presence in the area.
·Conducting daily morning meeting with all staff and reporting the daily figures.
·Ensuring all applicants registered are validated.
·Ensure all offer paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Ensure all guidelines of the Estate Agency Act are followed.
·Motivating staff to improve results by setting targets, incentives, being positive and offering training or assistance where required.
