Our quality client in Worcester now seeks a Sales Consultant for their retirement village in Worcester. The  hours of work will be Tuesday- Saturday.
Job Purpose
As part of the sales team, contribute to the marketing and sales of properties in the retirement community at Worcester and manage the customer relationship from initial interest through to the scheduled move in date to ensure that the process is managed at all stages in a professional and timely manner.
Principal Accountabilities
·Be responsible for progressing clients assigned to you by the Sales and Marketing Manager, and in particular manage the sales cycle with your allocated clients, ensuring that their requirements are met wherever possible and that the process is managed in a professional and timely manner at each stage;
·Be responsible for progressing any projects assigned to you by the Sales and Marketing Manager ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards and within agreed timescales thus contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Company;
·Participate in the shift rota to ensure that the sales office is sufficiently staffed at all times to deal with enquiries from customers and other interested parties;
·Be responsible as part of the team for the maintenance of the sales and marketing media, ensuring that it is up to date, of high quality, accurate, meets client needs and projects the Company in a professional manner;
·Ensure the appropriate use of sales and marketing media at the various stages of the sales cycle to ensure that it meets client needs (for example, activity calendars and information, local maps of transport links, financial planning sheets etc.);
·Update the database to ensure that information about potential and existing customers and other interested parties is timely, accurate and maintained in line with legislative requirements so that leads can be followed up as necessary;
·Update the sales database, ensuring that data is accurate so that sales can be effectively tracked to ensure goals are met;
·Support the Sales and Marketing Manager by attending local events to represent company, thus maximizing the Company’s exposure and raising awareness in the community of its products and services;
·In support of the Sales and Marketing Manager and in conjunction with the team identify interesting stories and PR opportunities to showcase firms villages and its work, including documenting stories of customers, whose lives have benefitted from making a village, their home in order to contribute to the positive and professional image of the Company.

·Promote and adhere to companies H&S rules and procedures and guidance from ARCO;;
·Promote and support the Company’s commitment to Equality and Diversity;
·Adhere to the terms of the consumer code and the company Customer Charter, including the requirements set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations (CPR) 2008, Consumer Code for Home Builders;
·Follow and implement the company Complaints Policy and the requirements of the Ombudsman services;
·Comply with the requirements of HM Revenue and Customs;
·Comply with all requirements related to ID checks in line with the Money Laundering Regulations and new owner assessments;
·Promote and adhere to companies policy on data management, the requirements of the General Data Protection Requirements 2018 and the Information Commissioner’s Office;
·Represent company in a professional manner to ensure that its best interests are promoted at all times;
·Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of this post.
Qualifications/ Education
·High standards of literacy and numeracy;
·Educated to at least A’ Level standard;
·An appropriate qualification in sales or marketing would be desirable but is not essential.
·Previous experience at a similar level, of sales and marketing, preferably within the property development sector.
Technical skills
·MS Office, in particular Excel and Word competency;
·Some experience of Customer Relations Management (CRM), preferably with ACT!;

·Good communication skills, both oral and written, with experience of effectively negotiating;
·Ability to effectively manage own time and prioritise competing demands;
·Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as use own initiative;
·Good organizational skills, with a methodical and thorough approach to work tasks including attention to detail.
