My client is an independent Agent and has been established in the area for over 70 years, specialising in residential property Sales, Lettings and Property Management. Continuing demand for our services means that we are now seeking another Property Manager to join their team in Sidcup.
They pride themselves on a high level of customer service - which is endorsed by our memberships of ARLA, NAEA, TDS & Property Ombudsman and they are a friendly and professional company who believes in providing high levels of customer service to their Landlords and tenants who become members of the local community.

Previous residential Property Management (or relevant lettings) experience (ideally with an industry recognised qualification) would be very helpful but training would be provided for a suitable applicant. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to calmly deal with the day to day queries and maintenance problems which arise during a tenancy.

The position would ideally suit someone already with property management, maintenance or lettings experience, who is keen to advance in their career with a reputable long established and expanding company.

Brief duties and skills required for the position:
·Good organisation/administration skills - dealing with both paper and electronic files.
·Excellent communication skills – (letter writing, e mails, and in person)
·Visiting properties and dealing with maintenance issues.
·Liaising with contractors and overseeing remedial works
·Dealing with daily queries from tenants and landlords regarding the tenancy
·Ability to multi task
·Check out procedures at end of tenancy
·Updating inventories for new tenancy
·Negotiating deposit refunds & TDS claims
·Attending repossession court cases & preparing documentation
·Use of own vehicle to visit properties (Travelling expenses provided)
