An exciting opportunity has arisen within an independent letting firm in Sheffield. Our Client is seeking a Property Manager to join the team.
·Responsible for the day to day management of the client's portfolio
·Being pro-active in solving defects and management issues
·Ensure that processes, systems, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
·Liaising with tenants, and contractors
·Ensuring all legislation, including safety certificates relating to the properties are kept up to date.
·Management of insurances, office and residential property utility contracts are up to date. Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
·Liaising with utility providers and contractors
·Drafting and arranging the signing of tenancy and guarantor agreements.
·Issuing notices and renewal of existing tenancies.
·Liaising with the accounts team regarding payments, arrears and invoicing.
·Commitment to achieving excellent performance and delivering an excellent management service.
·Registering deposits and handling any end of tenancy disputes between the landlord and tenant.
·Carrying out property viewings and inspections
The ideal candidate would be:

·Have confident communication skills including written work, presentation skills.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·The ability to record and manage accurate information and detailed data.
·The ability to demonstrate a commitment to equalities in all areas of work with customers, members of staff.
·Be IT literate in standard office applications and able to manage computerised databases.
·Have good Numeracy skills.
·Hold a full UK driving licence.
Experience within the property industry in either the professional or student lettings market is required.
