Our client is a well known and respected agent who is looking to recruit a Property Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy Gloucester office.

Key responsibilities
1. Liaise with tenants and landlords when maintenance issues arise, to identify actions required in a timely manner
2. Keep updates on progress and outstanding issues
3. Liaise with contractors to obtain quotes for repairs/work required
4. Instruct contractors to action maintenance/work required
5. Ensure tenants have appropriate notice of contractors visits
6. Ensure the appropriate contractor is instructed for the needs of the property
7. Deal with insurance claims, liaising with landlords, tenants, insurers and contractors if and when necessary
8. Ensure gas safety certificates are up to date, issue to landlords and tenants
9. Arrange PAT and hard wire testing to be carried out where necessary
10. Ensure properties meet Health and Safety standards
11. Sign off contractors invoices, ensuring they are put on LetMC and forwarded to accounts for payment in a timely manner
12. Generate work orders
13. Ensuring contractors public liability insurance and relevant qualifications are up to date
14. Work in the Landlords best interest
15. Produce relevant file notes on system
16. Generate ideas for improvements in the maintenance department
17. Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned
18. Undertake any training and development opportunities made available by the Company
19. General office and administration duties to assist the smooth running of the hub
20. Be compliant with Health and Safety regulations and the principles of the GDPR

Key demands:
1. Working to deadlines and schedules
2. Although based in the Gloucester office, you may be required to work out of another Branch.
3. There may be a need for work to be done outside of normal working hours and our client would appreciate your flexibility about this.

1.Experience of property maintenance is advantageous but not essential
2.Customer service experience is essential
