My Client is a specialist Residential Property Investment and trading company with over 20 years experience.

Their core skills are within Acquisition, Planning, Construction, Marketing and Portfolio Management and they focus on maximising value Investors and Shareholders across a broad spectrum of Property Investment and Investment.

They have comprehensive knowledge of the Greater London Residential, development and Investment markets.

They are looking to recruit a Lettings and Credit control executive to help deal with the Lettings side of the business but the main responsibility of your role will be credit control recovery.



The ideal candidate will have/be :-

·Previous experience workings in a property management team
·Ideally worked for a Housing association
·Ability to problem solve and have good attention to detail
·Understanding of Property Management Legislation
·Respond to all enquiries relating to lettings/credit control in a timely and efficient manner and follow up effectively to achieve maximum collection/occupancy

·Undertake daily administrative duties to enable a smooth service delivery to tenants

·Demonstrate a basic understanding of the property market
·Able to respond positively to challenges
·A full UK driving licence
·Collection of outstanding sums due from tenants within due dates
·Strict review of arrears and enforcing bailiff litigation action for any tenant delinquency

·Able to build relationships and work efficiently with local authority entities in reaching resolutions on tenant arrears related issues.

·Ensuring all applicant data is correct and suitable candidates are being housed
·Assist in undertaking direct rent negotiations with targeted and approved prospects

·Management and closure of complaints
·Assisting & following up with the preparation of letting documentation, to ensure that all documentation complies with prevailing laws and regulations
·Monitor expired contracts and escalate as per PM policies and procedures
·Report to the portfolio manager on a weekly basis, the status of individual credit control accounts, with associated action plans
·Prepare Renewal Notice to tenants, distribute and follow up
·Other tasks and activities associated with the role
·Attend court on behalf of employer


Skills and Abilities

·Direct tenant Liaison & Customer Services experience

·Self-motivated, organised and ability to learn quickly

·Independent and proactive

·Effective telephone and written communication

·Responsible, reliable, solution driven and shows leadership in making decisions

·Ability to work independently and within a managed team environment

·Smart and well presented

·Strong administrative and day-to-day office skills

·Ability to speak fluent English and a second language is desirable

·Strong and confident in your manner, working well under pressure and demonstrating a ‘can-do’ attitude

·A flexible approach to working hours may be required

·Advance Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel knowledge

·Previous experience of using Decorus and Sage is desirable
