Our clients are a long-established company and are a market leader in the residential sales and lettings sector across Kirklees and Calderdale having a reputation for offering the highest level of professional service to clients.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our growing Lettings and Property Management Department who manage a portfolio of over 800 properties for a wide range of Landlords.
The role of Lettings Co-ordinator is diverse and includes handling property enquires, negotiating new tenancies, arranging property repairs and liaising with Landlords, Tenants, Contractors and Colleagues. In addition, the successful candidate will provide support in undertaking property viewings and inspections, preparing inventories and tenant sign-ups/check-outs.
Whilst previous experience would be preferred, this is not essential and with the personal attributes of the applicant being equally as important for this role.
The following are however key skills for the role:
·A full driving licence.
·Attention to detail in completing check-ins, tenancy agreements, inventories and check-out reports.
·Strong self-management skills.
·Good written and verbal communication skills.
·The ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
·A desire to offer the highest level of customer service and a willingness to learn.
The role offers the opportunity of career progression within the business and, over time, be provided support to achieve qualifications within the sector.
Full training will be provided, where required, in respect of the software used and regulations surrounding lettings.
Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.00pm
1 in 4 Saturdays – 9.00am to 12.00pm
A fixed salary will be agreed along with the prospect of earning bonuses, subject to personal and department performance.
