A vacancy has arisen for an experienced lettings administrator to join a well known and reputable firm in Bishopston.

Our clients aim is to deliver a superior and bespoke letting and management service to clients and tenants, (both existing and prospective), ensuring that expectations and contractual responsibilities are met and exceeded. As a Lettings Administrator within the established Lettings Team, the requirement is for a proactive, versatile and self-assured individual. The successful candidate will be organised, efficient, able to work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst maintaining excellent customer service at all times.

As a Lettings Administrator the main duties will include coordinating and undertaking day to day administration associated with our residential letting and property management portfolios, progression of tenancy applications and agreements this will then lead to maintaining regular contact with applicants, clients, etc.

The candidate will be a key player in setting up tenancy agreements, ensuring that procedures at all stages of the application are completed effectively and efficiently.

Smart personal presentation and enthusiasm are essential as are the abilities to work under their own initiative and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. The candidate should have good attention to detail and be reasonably computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Property administration experience is preferred though not essential, and whilst ARLA qualifications and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation would be a distinct advantage, these will be provided for the right candidate.

Above all else, the candidate will inspire confidence as a friendly and reliable team player who is able to work under pressure and retain a sense of humour at all times.

Ideally living locally the candidate should have, or be able to quickly acquire, a good geographical knowledge of the locality.

Working Hours:  1 in 4 Saturday’s 9am-4pm (with lieu day in the week when you work a Saturday)
Monday to Friday 8.45am-6.00pm (with a 6.30pm finish 5 days in every 4 weeks)

Holidays: 24 days annual leave (in addition to public holidays)

Salary: £18k per annum with an OTE of £20/22k
