Salary - £65K basic plus uncapped bonus to in excess of £100K
Reporting to the Group CEO, you will work as part of a close-knit team who are motivated, effective and welcoming. This role is office based and involves liaison with their in-house finance team.
This leading family business which has been established since 1969 owns and operates a national portfolio of in excess of £350M of property assets. They have acquired in excess of £33M investment property in the last 12 months.   
Your responsibilities will include the following:
·Communicating and building relationships with Institutional and Private Landlords, Investment Agents and Property Companies UK wide
·Evaluating and seeking out retail and leisure investment lots with asset management and development opportunities
·Negotiating the purchase of new acquisitions
·Driving the legal process, along with planning as required and communicating with their professional advisor's during the acquisition cycle.
·Presenting your appraisal for each investment-to-Investment committee, setting out your strategy and logic, as to why such asset should be purchased
·Reviewing and monitoring rent reviews / lease events
The ideal candidate will have:
·A minimum of 5 years post qualified experience (MRICS) in the Commercial/Mixed-Use Property Investment Industry
·A current knowledge base of commercial investment values, particularly in the Retail/Leisure Sector
·The ability to explain and write short reports identifying with sound business acumen, the commercial rationale for wanting to acquire the asset and possible exit strategy
·A sound professional network and influencing skills within the industry
·The ability and personality to work well within a small team
·Focus and self-driven to add value and see angles others may overlook
·A proven track record of having acquired commercial investments, either on behalf of clients or in-house with institutional/private family offices
