Key objectives of role:
1.Lead the Market Lettings department, incorporating the Market Rented (residential and commercial), Student Accommodation and externally-owned Property Management teams, ensuring effective and efficient management of the portfolios.
2.Support the delivery of the Group’s Asset Management strategy, to maximise asset performance and improve portfolio worth.
3.Act as part of the Senior Leadership Team within Asset Management, supporting the Director (Strategic Asset Management), and other leaders in the delivery of growth or improvement projects.
4.Understand, embrace and apply the customer-centric company culture of continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities:
Market Rented and Student Accommodation
1.Lead the Market Rented (residential and commercial properties) and Student Accommodation departments, including NPS and budgetary responsibility, team management and staff engagement, through the respective team managers.
2.Lead the externally-owned property management department (we manage properties on a contract basis on behalf of other corporate property owners), including budgetary responsibility and staff engagement, through the team manager.
3.To monitor performance of the Market Rented and Student Accommodation and externally-owned property management teams.
4.Represent the departments and forge strong working relationships internally and externally.
5.Research and propose and implement new products and services designed to improve service efficiency/profitability, customer access and customer satisfaction, with a focus on standard of homes, asset quality and outstanding customer service.
Asset Management:
1.Lead and review diverse Asset Management projects and operations, from inception through to implementation and integration, applying consistent financial rigour, modelling and appraisal.
2.Support the Asset Management team and other teams in the Group as appropriate on Assets based initiatives.
