A fabulous opportunity has risen with a major estate agency to head up their Land and New Homes division in Surrey.

Working within the Estate Agency and alongside developers and their existing sales team, the successful applicant will be locating new land opportunities, sourcing sites and carrying out feasibility studies.

Applicants should be able to give realistic advice on current market conditions and future trends, helping a Developer to identify target markets in order to maximise prices achieved

As Head of Land & New, you will have the responsibility of increasing revenue and profitability through the achievement of agreed business targets, implementing agreed business plans and listing/selling new developments. You will also be responsible for leasing, development and planning of major land holdings with particular interest in acquisition, disposal of land, master planning, planning, leasing and marketing.

Key Requirements:

•Several years of relevant industry experience and have a very successful track record in the Land and New Homes sector.
•Commercially aware, have the ability to communicate professionally with developer clients at all levels and be able to grow and develop existing and new business relationships.
•Target-driven, self-motivated and with excellent initiative, the ability to deal with both the estate agents and new homes developers.
•Able to lead a team in sourcing and identifying new land opportunities, with a strong all round knowledge of planning legislation and the ability to
•A strong background in the land industry and extensive experience of acquisition and disposal of land
•Experience of managing teams and driving the new homes residential sales business forward
•Excellent communication skills with the natural ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
•Relevant contacts with key agents, builders, private developers and investors is essential
