An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this established Auction Brand as an Area Manager for their newly acquired region. This brand is the UK's largest residential and commercial property auction company; they sell more properties than any other auctioneer and operate more auction rooms than anyone else. They also run regular National Online Auctions with eBay style internet bidding from the comfort of client's own homes and are unique in that they are currently running the real time Livestream format.
Due to increased business levels they are now seeking someone that has a good geographical knowledge within the Cheshire area and ideally someone who has pre-existing relationships with property sector businesses in these regions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As an Area Manager, you will initially be field based and working from home with an occasional requirement to visit our Head Office. The successful candidate will need to be proficient in identifying new business opportunities to self-generate auction listings and develop the brand. Ideally you will already have a network of contacts within these areas to ensure that they are able to quickly launch successful Livestream auctions within the region.  
Key duties will include:
·Identifying and canvassing sources of new auction listings
·Undertaking appraisals, converting instructions, as well as marketing and selling these through proactive negotiation
·Building new and potentially existing working relationships to maximise direct instructions, as well as those via a newly created partner agent network within the region
·Being responsible for cultivating, supporting and encouraging new bidders and buyers
·Responding to enquiries via telephone and e-mail with the support of an Auction Administrator.
·Developing a business plan to increase income, market share and brand awareness with the support and assistance of the Regional Auction Manager
·Initially conducting viewings for self-generated listings with the assistance of self-generated video viewings and social media marketing
·Taking an active role in marketing and brand awareness with a view to mirroring the social and digital media framework that is present within the brand to include potential social media content generation
·Delivering excellent customer service to new and potential clients via telephone, e-mail, online and video communication
·Previous experience of working within a managerial level role in the property sector
·Excellent communication skills both in person and on the telephone
·Full driving licence and a willingness to travel
·Good area knowledge of one or both of these areas is essential
·An ability to self-generate business and build successful business relationships resulting in direct listings and the creation of a successful Partner Agent network
·Experience in valuing and listing property for marketing purposes of at least 2 years
·Previous experience of either in-house or online property auctions would be very advantageous
Package and Benefits
·A Competitive basic salary is being offered dependent on experience
·Company car or car allowance
·A percentage of net income with no threshold (to be reviewed after year one)
·20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and additional Christmas shutdown (4/5 days additional holiday)
·Company pension scheme
·Work mobile phone, company laptop and fuel card
·Monday to Friday 9am until 5:30pm with some additional weekend and evening work, as required
