Business Support Assistant – Block Management Department

We are recruiting for a firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Central Coventry managing residential developments throughout Coventry & Warwickshire

We are seeking a Business Support Assistant with some general experience within the Insurance/accounts environment, to assist in the smooth & efficient running of the residential Block Management department,

?Inputting contractor invoices and processing payments using inhouse software & Bankline
?Debt management/service charge collection of over 2,500 lessees
?Liaison with clients, lessees, professional advisors and colleagues as necessary.
?Assisting in preparation of annual service charge budgets.
?Assisting the Accounts Manager with inputting data/payments onto the computer system.
?Management of all insurance claims in relation to buildings insurance and processing it through to completion.
?Ensuring that all monthly insurance payments are made on time and relevant spreadsheets maintained.
?Support to other members of both the block management & Lettings department in the event of holidays etc.
?Handling incoming phone calls process efficiently.
?Effective diary and task management.

To be successful in this role it is anticipated that the candidate will possess the following skills.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal. Be diligent with attention to detail.
Able to prioritise and manage your own workload in a small but busy office environment.
