A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Property Maintenance Coordinator to join a well established firm in Barnsley.
Looking for a high calibre individual to look after a large portfolio of properties, the ideal candidate for the role will have a strong Property Management or Lettings background and will be keen to join a forward thinking firm.
Duties to include:
·Arranging maintenance and dealing with enquries
·Ensuring all legislation is followed correctly and all compliance for properties is met
·Sign off all invoices to be passed to accounts payable
·Manage properties in need of re-let works
·Any other duties as requested from the management team
·Manage relationships between Landlord, Tenant and Contractor.
This is a small list of the duties you will be carrying out, the ideal candidate must be willing to lend a hand wherever is needed to ensure that the Property Maintenance Coordinator role is successfully met and fulfilled.
·Be exceptionally organised, methodical and capable of multi-tasking.
·Be able to prioritise tasks and manage own workload.
·Be a strong communicator / negotiator with excellent verbal and written skills.
·Have a good level of competence in Word, Outlook and Excel.
·Have a good understanding of lettings and the relevant legislation.
·Be able to understand practical issues relating to property repairs and maintenance.
·Be able professional at all times, both in and outside the work environment.
·Be able to effectively operate as part of a larger team and go the extra mile.
Working hours for this role will be:
9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
