Job Title: Property Sales Progressor
Department: Sales
Job Summary:
The Property Sales Progressor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and timely property sales transactions. This involves proactive communication and coordination with all parties involved, including buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents, to identify and overcome any potential obstacles that may delay completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage sales progression: Monitor and track all key dates and deadlines throughout the sales process, including mortgage offers, surveys, legal exchanges, and completion.
- Communicate effectively: Maintain regular and clear communication with all parties involved, providing updates and proactively addressing any queries or concerns.
- Identify and resolve issues: Proactively identify and resolve any potential obstacles that may delay completion, such as missing documentation, chain complications, or lender delays.
- Liaise with solicitors: Coordinate with both buyer and seller solicitors to ensure all legal documentation is prepared and exchanged in a timely manner.
- Chase outstanding actions: Regularly chase outstanding actions from all parties involved, such as mortgage valuations, surveys, and legal searches.
- Maintain accurate records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales progression activity, including communication logs, deadlines, and key documents.
- Provide excellent customer service: Provide excellent customer service to both buyers and sellers throughout the entire sales process, keeping them informed and updated at all times.
- Contribute to team goals: Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve overall sales targets and improve team performance.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a property sales progression role (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and relevant property software
- Knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legal procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary : £25k basic with an OTE of up to £30k
