Property Manager – Plymouth
£28,000 basic (inc bonus) or £28,000–£32,000 (inc bonus) for ARLA qualified
Full‑time, Permanent | Monday–Friday currently
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West’s largest independent letting and property management agencies. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their busy Plymouth branch, managing a large and varied portfolio of residential properties.

The Role
As a Property Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • General administration and customer service duties
  • Organising pre‑check‑out, interim, and check‑out inspections
  • Managing maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
  • Handling deposit releases and disputes through the DPS
  • Ensuring all gas safety certificates are in date and renewed as required
  • Ensuring full branch compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Managing rent increases, and serving correct notices
  • Dealing with rent arrears
  • Acting as a key point of contact for landlords and tenants
  • Carrying out any other duties required to support the branch

About You

  • Ideally an experienced Property Manager, but we will also consider:
    • Lettings Administrators
    • Lettings Negotiators looking to move into Property Management
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident dealing with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • A proactive and professional approach

You must hold a full UK driving licence. A pool car is provided, or mileage allowance is available if using your own vehicle.
Our client can offer

  • £28,000 basic salary (depending on experience and including bonus)
  • £30,000–£32,000 including bonus once ARLA qualified
  • Monday to Friday working currently (Contracted to work one in three Saturdays but currently no Saturday working)
  • Pool car or mileage allowance
  • Full support towards ARLA qualifications
  • Higher salary available for fully ARLA‑qualified candidates

This is a full‑time, permanent role based on a 40‑hour week.
