Block Manager – Mixed-Use Portfolio
💰 £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
📍 Hybrid working available after probation
Are you an experienced Block Manager looking for your next challenge? Or perhaps you’re a Property Manager ready to progress into a more senior, complex portfolio?
We have an exciting opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of 15–20 buildings, including a mix of residential and commercial properties, with some estate management responsibilities. This is a fantastic role for someone keen to develop their expertise within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
As Block Manager, you will take full responsibility for your portfolio, including one high-risk building (50 units), ensuring full compliance, safety standards and excellent service delivery at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of 15–20 mixed-use buildings

Setting and overseeing service charge budgets

Ensuring compliance with current legislation and health & safety requirements

Building strong relationships with residents and leaseholders

Coordinating contractors and overseeing maintenance works

Carrying out regular site inspections and producing reports

Supporting with minor estate management duties
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
-
Previous experience in block management or property management
-
Confidence managing high-risk buildings (or a strong willingness to develop in this area)

Excellent organisational and communication skills
-
A proactive and professional approach
-
IRPM qualification (or working towards) – desirable but not essential
This position would particularly suit a Property Manager currently earning in the early £30,000s who is ready to take the next step in their career. Full support and ongoing training will be provided.
Working Hours & Flexibility

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Hybrid working available (Tuesday and Friday from home) following successful completion of 6-month probation
