A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Lettings Manager to join a highly regarded, growing independent estate and letting agency based across North Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
This is a key senior role within the business, offering genuine influence, autonomy and the chance to help shape the next phase of growth for an ambitious and values-led company. The right individual will be trusted to lead from the front, drive performance and elevate standards across multiple branches.
The Opportunity
This is not a “hands-off” area role. It’s a visible, influential position suited to a commercially minded lettings professional who enjoys being close to the operation while thinking strategically.
You’ll work closely with senior management, supporting branch teams, improving processes, growing portfolios and ensuring service levels remain consistently high.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop lettings performance across multiple branches
- Lead, mentor and support Lettings Managers and property teams
- Drive new business, instructions and portfolio growth
- Ensure compliance with lettings legislation, best practice and company standards
- Improve systems, processes and operational efficiency
- Act as a senior point of contact for key landlords and clients
- Monitor KPIs, budgets and profitability across the area
- Support recruitment, training and development of lettings staff
- Represent the business professionally in the local market
About You
- Proven experience as an Area Lettings Manager, Senior Lettings Manager or highly experienced Lettings Manager
- Strong knowledge of residential lettings legislation and compliance
- Commercially driven with a track record of improving performance
- Confident leader who can motivate, challenge and support teams
- Hands-on, organised and solutions-focused
- Professional, credible and relationship-led in approach
- Full UK driving licence
