Assistant Branch Manager

Independent Estate Agency | Shropshire
Salary: Competitive basic + uncapped commission

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced estate agency professional to step into an Assistant Branch Manager role with a highly regarded independent estate agency operating across Shropshire.

This position is ideal for a confident, motivated estate agent who is either already operating at Assistant Manager level or is a strong Senior Negotiator / Valuer ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager, playing a key role in driving performance, supporting the team and helping to grow market share, while still remaining hands-on with valuations, instructions and sales.

The Role

You will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of the branch, combining leadership responsibilities with front-line estate agency work.

Key responsibilities include:
 

  • Supporting the Branch Manager in the overall performance and profitability of the office
  • Conducting market appraisals and winning new instructions
  • Managing sales agreed through to completion
  • Leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Supporting, coaching and motivating the sales team
  • Assisting with training, inductions and ongoing development
  • Helping to implement and maintain high operational standards
  • Contributing to local market presence, reputation and business growth

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • Proven experience within residential estate agency (sales essential)
  • Currently an Assistant Branch Manager, Senior Negotiator or Valuer
  • Confident carrying out valuations and converting instructions
  • Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on, proactive approach
  • Commercially aware, target-driven and highly organised
  • Professional, personable and credible with vendors and buyers
  • Ambitious, with a genuine desire to progress long-term
