We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an existing property sales negotiator ready to make a move into a valuing role in the Okehampton area. This is a full-time role with excellent scope for growth, where you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting buyers and sellers throughout their journey, and helping drive the success of one of the South West’s fastest-growing estate agencies. This role is ideal for an ambitious estate agency professional who loves negotiating but is now seeking progression in valuing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about achieving great results for clients. Realistic on target earnings around £35,000
About the Role
As a Sales Negotiator, you’ll already be at the heart of the sales process—building strong relationships with clients, matching buyers to properties, handling negotiations, and ensuring smooth progress through to completion. You’ll work closely with one of the senior staff members to learn the valuation process and how to win new business and support the business’s continued growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with buyers and sellers, providing clear updates and professional guidance.
- Organise and carry out market appraisals and take ons
- Handle sales negotiations, offers, and progression to ensure successful completions.
- Match buyers to suitable properties and proactively generate interest.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
- Maintain accurate records, sales notes, and system updates.
- Work towards agreed targets and KPIs in a driven, supportive environment.
- Keep up to date with local market trends and competitor activity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
Skills Required
- Experience in estate agency sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and rapport-building skills.
- A results-driven, proactive, and organised approach.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the South West property market.
- Experience working in a target-driven sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales progression processes.
