Role Overview
The Property Valuer will be responsible for generating new instructions, carrying out accurate market appraisals, and supporting the end‑to‑end sales process. This is a varied, front‑line role suited to a sales‑focused professional who enjoys working across valuations, viewings, vendor management, and buyer engagement.
The successful candidate will be confident operating in a customer‑facing environment, comfortable handling a wide range of residential properties, and motivated by closing deals and delivering an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential property valuations and market appraisals up to c. £900,000.
- Win new business and secure property instructions through proactive lead generation and relationship management.
- Manage vendors and buyers throughout the sales process, providing clear, professional advice.
- Carry out property viewings and negotiate offers to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
- Maintain accurate property listings using modern estate agency and CRM systems.
- Build and develop strong local market knowledge within Leicester and surrounding areas.
- Represent the agency in a professional manner, reflecting both its technological capability and traditional service values.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and office sales targets.
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Proven experience in residential property sales, valuations, or a closely related estate agency role.
- Demonstrable track record of closing sales and securing new instructions.
- Strong sales orientation with a commercial, results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident and personable when dealing with clients face to face.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of personal organisation and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
