This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of an established branch in the Taunton area as a Valuer / Lister, with a basic salary of around £28,000 plus commission and with an OTE of up to £38-45,000 depending on experience. This is one of the best agents in the area with huge scope for career potential.
Our client is a well-known up market property agent with a fantastic reputation in the local area. They are looking for an experienced estate agent who is driven and ambitious to join and continue to grow the Taunton office. The candidate they are looking for must be a proven business winner ideally already working in the Industry as a Senior Negotiator / Valuer with a great track record in gaining property instructions. They are looking for an exciting and dynamic candidate with good local market knowledge. This position will be dealing with all ends of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate property valuations for sales and lettings.
- Prepare and present valuations to clients.
- List new properties on sales platforms social media.
- Advise clients on market conditions, pricing strategies, and property presentation.
- Take professional photographs and write compelling property descriptions.
- Coordinate with vendors to gather necessary documentation and details.
- Ensure compliance with relevant property laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local property market trends.
- Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers or landlords and tenants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of property valuation methods and market analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and property listing software.
- Sales-driven mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Professional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of legal aspects of property transactions.
We are looking for an ambitious candidate already working in the industry as a valuer. Basic salary in the region of £28,000 with on target earnings in the region of £38-45,000. This would be depending on level of experience and market conditions.
