The Role
As Senior Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and ongoing development of the team. You’ll be working closely with the Manager to shape strategy and execute the business plan, ensuring the department meets its ambitious targets.
- Oversee and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring they are equipped to manage a busy workload and deliver exceptional results.
- Drive new business by winning lettings instructions in a highly competitive market environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and consistently delivering excellent customer service.
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of the agency’s brand within the St Albans market.
- Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to develop new business areas.
- Foster strong internal and external business relationships to ensure a collaborative and positive working environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a driven, customer-focused property professional with a passion for lettings and team development. You are either:
- An experienced Lettings Negotiator (minimum 2 years’ successful track record in residential lettings), ready to step up into a managerial role, OR
Key Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential lettings
- Proven ability to win new business in a competitive market
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members
- Outstanding customer service and administration skills
- High drive and energy, with a results-oriented approach
- Professional, positive attitude and high attention to detail
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook essential)
- ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
