Job Role – Block Manager
Location – Liverpool
Salary – £35k – £40k basic
Out clients are looking for a Block Manager to look after their high rise building portfolio.
This candidate would be responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of a designated high-rise residential building(s), ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for residents. This role involves overseeing all aspects of building operations, including maintenance, security, resident relations, financial management, and compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to building management.
Building Operations and Maintenance:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the high-rise building(s), including building systems such as HVAC, elevators, fire safety systems, and plumbing.
Resident Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Security and Safety:
- Implement and enforce security protocols to ensure the safety and security of residents and the building.
Financial Management:
- Assist in the preparation and management of the building’s operating budget.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in high-rise building management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including building management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., property management, facilities management) are desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
