Lettings Manager
Falmouth, Cornwall £33,000 – £38,000 Basic Salary | OTE £40-42,000+ | Full Time
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded independent estate agency, is seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to lead and develop their successful lettings department in the Falmouth and surrounding areas.

You’ll be joining an established team and playing a key role in driving performance, developing staff and expanding the managed portfolio.
The Role
As Lettings Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational efficiency and commercial performance. You’ll lead an experienced team, mentor and develop colleagues, and work closely with landlords and tenants to deliver an exceptional lettings experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily operation and performance of the lettings department
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of lettings and property professionals
- Monitoring departmental KPIs, targets and forecasts
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants and prospective clients
- Driving new business opportunities and supporting portfolio growth
- Overseeing the full lettings process from instruction through to tenancy progression and ongoing management
- Handling complex enquiries and resolving escalated issues professionally
- Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and industry best practice
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and overall business performance
About You
Our client is looking for a confident and commercially minded lettings professional who can inspire a team and deliver results. You’ll be passionate about customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the leadership skills to drive continual improvement.
To be considered, you should have:
- A minimum of three years’ residential lettings experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Experience working with property management and CRM systems
- A full UK driving licence
ARLA Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous but is not essential.
Package
- Basic salary of £33,000 – £38,000, depending on experience
- Realistic OTE of £40-42,000+
- Uncapped bonus structure
