Lettings Negotiator / Property Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lettings Negotiator / Property Manager to join a friendly and well-established independent estate agency.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys being out and about conducting viewings, but who is equally comfortable managing the administration involved in progressing a tenancy from application through to move-in.
You’ll be joining a supportive independent agency where there is genuine scope to develop and progress as the business continues to grow.
The Role
You will be involved across the lettings process, with responsibilities including:
- Booking and carrying out property viewings
- Dealing with prospective tenants and discussing suitable properties
- Following up viewings and negotiating applications
- Progressing successful applications through to move-in
- Carrying out referencing and right-to-rent checks
- Preparing tenancy paperwork and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place
- Liaising with landlords and tenants throughout the process
- Coordinating deposits, inventories and move-ins
- Assisting with day-to-day property management queries
- Keeping systems and property records accurate and up to date
- Providing a friendly and professional service to landlords and tenants
About You
Previous lettings or property management experience would be ideal, as you will need to understand the lettings process and be confident managing your own workload.
You will also need to be:
- Personable, confident and comfortable dealing with people
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Able to manage both viewings and the administration that follows
- Proactive and happy to take responsibility for seeing things through
- A good communicator with a genuine customer-focused approach
- Keen to develop your career within the property industry
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be regularly out of the office conducting property viewings.
