Property Manager
Our client, a highly respected and long-established independent property firm, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join its successful team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive and customer-focused individual to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of residential properties while delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants alike.
There may also be opportunities to gain exposure to commercial property management, making this an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop their career further.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential portfolio, ensuring that properties are maintained to the highest standards while remaining fully compliant with all relevant legislation.
Duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties on behalf of landlords.
- Carrying out regular property inspections and arranging any necessary follow-up work.
- Handling maintenance issues and tenant enquiries.
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers to arrange repairs and compliance checks.
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance documentation, including gas safety certificates, EPCs and deposit protection requirements.
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Assisting with tenant move-ins and check-outs.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will possess:
- A minimum of two years’ experience within residential property management.
- A solid understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
- Experience of working within a professional estate agency environment.
- ARLA Propertymark qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
