An opportunity has become available for a Property Manager to join a busy and established Property maintenance team in the Havant area.
Role: Property Manager (maternity leave cover – 12 months contract)
Key Package benefits:Basic salary: In the region of £28k – £33k dependent on depth of experience, but with a minimum of 2 years working in an intensive administrative role.
Full-time role: 9am to 6pm – Monday to Friday.
Parking on site available.
Ideally with already gained experience working within a maintenance team, you will have fantastic communication, organisation and expert administrative skills. You will be comfortable working under pressure at critical times, flexible and adaptable to accommodate unplanned events and emergencies, and have the hindsight to take action and plan before issues become critical.
The main role will cover (not exhaustive):
- Handling day to day Maintenance enquiries and liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Registering deposits.
- Handling inventories and inspections.
- Dealing with check out reports and negotiating deposit deductions.
- Ensure safety certificates are compliant, kept up to date and appropriately recorded.
- Serving notices and issuing vacating notes.
- Preparing monthly and adhoc statements.
- Chasing rent arrears.
- Liaising on rent reviews with appropriate team members and clients.
- Working closely and supporting other team members with administrative duties.
** Please note that a clean UK driving licence and your own vehicle is essential for the position.
