Location: Downend, BristolSalary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Property Manager – Join a Growing Lettings Team
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded independent estate and lettings agency based in Downend, Bristol. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Property Manager to join their friendly and professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous property management or lettings experience who enjoys building strong relationships, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties.
- Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
- Coordinating maintenance issues from initial report through to completion.
- Instructing and liaising with contractors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Arranging property inspections and preparing detailed reports.
- Managing tenancy renewals and negotiating agreements where required.
- Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and safety regulations.
- Handling deposit disputes and tenancy-related queries professionally.
- Maintaining accurate property records and updating internal systems.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in property management, residential lettings, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Confident handling multiple tasks and resolving issues efficiently.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and experience using property management software (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
