Commercial Property Manager (MRICS Preferred)ShrewsburySalary £35,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join a highly regarded and well-established independent property consultancy based in Shrewsbury.This is a key role within a growing commercial department, offering the chance to manage a varied and high-quality portfolio while working within a knowledgeable and supportive team.The RoleAs Commercial Property Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a diverse commercial portfolio, ensuring assets are maintained, compliant and delivering strong returns.Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial properties including office, retail and industrial units
- Overseeing rent collection, service charges and financial performance
- Managing maintenance, repairs and contractor relationships
- Handling landlord and tenant matters, including negotiations and dispute resolution
- Conducting rent reviews and lease renewals
- Ensuring full compliance with all statutory and legal requirements
- Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants and stakeholders
You will play a key role in maintaining occupancy levels, controlling costs and identifying opportunities to enhance asset value. About You
- Proven experience in commercial property management
- Ideally MRICS qualified (or working towards)
- Strong understanding of landlord & tenant legislation
- Experience managing service charges and budgets
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, proactive and commercially minded
