Senior Bookkeeper
Our clients are looking for a pro-active experienced senior bookkeeper to join their family working alongside the finance and office manager on our group of companies.
The role includes carrying out of duties including book-keeping, accounts & bank reconciliation, online banking. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, strong IT skills and accounting skill sets. You will be an excellent communicator who can engage with all levels of staff, suppliers and other members of the management.
Key responsibilities:
·Taking over most of the finance and administration aspects as the role progresses. This will include Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, VAT, Quotations, Diary Management, Payroll, Expenses, bank reconciliations, prepayments, Payments, accruals reporting etc.
·Complete bank reconciliation & book-keeping (via online systems e.g. Xero Bookkeeping)
·All aspects of reconciliation of accounts (bank and ledger) in Xero and query resolution
·Liaise with suppliers, calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money including office supplies and stock purchase decisions.
·Preparation of data for external accountants for year end, trial balance etc.
·Submitting monthly pension schedules
·Payroll preparation with an understanding of PAYE, national insurance and pensions and look through commissions for sales teams
·Liaising with Bank
·Basic Management Accounts
·Manage incoming payments for our buyers deposits
·Your Skills and Qualifications:
·Strong accounting & bookkeeping experience
·Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/AAT/CIMA)

The role will focus primarily on managing residential property sales their sales team have been instructed on across the UK from instruction to under offer, after which it is passed to the sales progression team. Properties can range in value from £100k to £10M with the majority of current business being from landlords selling rented properties.  You will be able to market these properties directly to their known investor base and also sub-contract local agents to market the property in the normal manner, using their proprietary agent analytics software that identifies the top performing agents in any location and price range.  Their team members do not conduct viewings or visit properties, they outsource all valuation and property visits to local agents or other service providers.  This makes the role a pure advisory role enhancing your work-life balance. Your Key Tasks

Our client is a multi-office firm with offices throughout Kent and South East London established 25 years ago, they are a recognised and respected brand offering a first class service.
They are currently looking for a Property Manager to add to their team.
The successful Property Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of properties, therefore they must be able to manage their own workload, keep on top of any issues and prioritise jobs as necessary.
 
Previous experience as a Property Manager is essential for this role as the successful individual will be responsible for the immediate management of the residential property portfolio. It is highly desirable that candidates have intermediate computer literacy and experience of lettings/property management software packages would be an useful.
 
 
Some of the responsibilities required in this Property Managers role include:
 
·Have the ability to demonstrate a track record of managing rental properties
·Be fully conversant with current regulation/ legislation and processes surrounding property management
·Striving to exceed individual targets
·Referring business across departments to maximise business opportunities
·Striving to exceed customer expectations
·Handling complaints and providing solutions
·Maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with company policies
·Ensuring compliance
·Supporting the team
·Professional qualifications would be advantageous
·Full valid driving licence is essential.
 
Package and Hours:
·Basic salary £24-26,000
·Realistic OTE £30-32,000
·9-6 Monday to Friday
