Our clients have an opening for an Estate/Letting Agent with Valuation experience to join their team.

Main Duties:
·Provide accurate market valuations for potential seller's properties based on the best available data and comparable property sales
·Have a proven track record in business development
·Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the local property market
·Engage and support customers throughout their journey
·Build a relationship and be the customer's key point of contact through the entire sales process
·Negotiate Sales
·Co-ordinate with the team and ensure all efforts are being made to achieve a successful sale
·Be confident in liaising with solicitors and other third parties
 
Requirements:
·Essential to have excellent knowledge of the property market including property trends
·A self starter, able to drive themselves and the team
·A strong desire to be successful and assist in the growth of the business
·Passion and enthusiasm
·Strong valuation experience (Sales & Lettings)
·Ability to deliver excellent customer service
·Driver’s licence and own vehicle
·Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
·Overseeing the effective running of the branch.
 
Experience of dealing with both sales and lettings negotiations for commercial properties would be advantageous.

Our clients are seeking a highly motivated and professional Student Accommodation Manager to head up a busy and well-established student accommodation company in Middlesbrough.
 
Our clients:
 
They were established in 2017 and has fast become the towns leading student accommodation provider, providing a higher standard of student living to students at Teesside University.  They are an accredited landlord under Teesside University’s Student Union and have been awarded Landlord of the year by the SU.
 
Who are they looking for?
 
They are looking for a dynamic and motivated manager to lead the team, made up of lettings negotiators and maintenance and manage the department. Reporting to the business Partners, you will oversee the day to day running of the department.
You will have the ability to build strong relationships with our landlords and ensure the student accommodation team is well regarded.
They are looking for someone with good business sense who can grow the company and explore new revenue opportunities
 
Duties (but are not limited to)
·Work with the lettings negotiators to ensure all enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently
·Build strong relationships with third parties such as the university, student union and local council
·Coordinate events to maximise exposure of the company (freshers fairs etc)
·Ensure that health and safety and fire regulations are met
·Management of a small team, providing mentoring, training and guidance
·Management of maintenance schedule and costings
·Report to the partners with figures, ensuring targets are met
·Liaise with landlords/investors to maximise their rental income
·Monitor landlord/tenant satisfaction
·Liaise with the accounts department and produce financial reporting to landlords and partners
·Promote social media and advertising campaigns
·Manage legislation & compliance
·Ensure smooth running of the move in/out process from start to finish including detailed inventories
 
Skills/experience
 
·Experience within student accommodation is desirable
·ARLA (or equivalent) qualification
·Experience of managing a team
·Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with landlords and tenants
·Strong leadership and management skills
·Highly organised and proactive approach
·The ability to multi task and manage changing priorities
·Experience in the property/housing management
·Knowledge of managing HMO’s
 
Minimum hours - Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.00pm and every other Saturday 9.00 - 12.30pm.  Flexibilty is key.
